Embark on a journey of self love for you are unexplored not incomplete!

Undoubtedly, it's human nature to desire to be liked/loved and esp. liked/loved back if not, by every single person we meet then by majority of those we do or the very least whom we seem to like/love. But what we need to realize is that just like how we can't like every single person we meet for whatever reasons we have; likewise, not everyone can like us back, which is totally understandable and in no way deplorable. Just because we like/love someone or hold someone in high regards doesn't mean they are compelled to like/love us back for there is no compulsion in the matters of heart.

Many a times we ourselves are blind to those people namely our parents, siblings, secret admirer, close friend etc. who like us immensely and hold us in such high regards that every single word we utter leaves a lasting impact on them. Furthermore, their world revolves around us and every wish of ours becomes a command for them. But at times, despite being aware of such people in our lives, we cannot bring ourselves to like, acknowledge or appreciate them as much as they have done all along. We just can't seem to reciprocate a 1/10th of their likeness/love towards us maybe because we are either oblivious to them or quite consumed in our quest to be liked by those we admire.Their world revolves around us while our world revolves around others, who when subject us to the same behaviour we have subjected those who've liked/loved us, gets us to snap and bawl our eyes out. We can't seem to understand nor want to understand how someone could be so unaware, downright ungrateful and incapable of liking us back despite, everything we have done for them. We never retrospect and think that maybe just maybe, we have done the same to someone knowingly or unknowingly and this is karma paying in full.

All in all, what we need to understand or rather accept is the poignant reality that we will not always be liked/loved back even if we become a door mat for certain people. They will always find faults with us and complain that we aren't soft or fluffy enough for them to easily walk all over us; aren't flat or smooth enough or aren't strong enough to stand up for ourselves; but most importantly never enough for them! However, we must always remember that we are more than enough and undoubtedly worthy of love. Incase, we aren't surrounded by people who accept us through and through, then we must strive to be there for ourselves, must love ourselves so that we don't need another human's love to feel fulfilled. We are unexplored not incomplete, as there is a world within us that we are yet oblivious to and once we become cognizant of it, we'd realize that we may need experiences, insights but never another human being to complete us.
